Anyone interested in a 3 day (2 night) ride through coast ?

I normally have been ripping through ACH on my new Tuono, but I also would like to take my Suzuki Bandit through Santa Barbara and up North for a couple of days with other riders.

Would anyone be interested ?

If so, let me know if leaving on a Thursday and coming back on Saturday or even Sunday works.

I like the idea of reserving camping and bringing a tent and sleeping bag in the rear box, but am also open to just booking a hotel. The more riders the better I say.

My riding buddies and I have an annual ride up to Monterey and back like that. We launch Friday afternoon if we can, Saturday morning if Friday doesn't work. We make it home Sunday night.

It's a great way to spend a weekend.

The ride is traditionally the first weekend in December, and our traditional stop is in Monterey proper.

The ride is long- we usually are in the saddle for 12+ hours, and the route changes every year but always faetures lots of extremely back roads at high speed.

If this sounds like your idea of fun, PM me and we can get together for a more local ride to see if our riding styles mesh.

Suggest we meet for an Angeles Crest Highway ride one of these Friday mornings. Saturday or Sunday also an option.

It needs to be planned.

Let's pick a date and make it happen.

I haven't checked this thread for a while. I only ride ACH if the weather is cool enough... so yes I'm a fair weather rider. It's looking like next F riday will be 88 at Nucombs in mid day, I'd be up for a ride meeting at 8:30 or 9AM at the latest at Shell if anyone's interested. On July 31 to be exact. I would also do Saturday but it will be hotter, so if you want to meet there at 8:30AM max, that could work too.

I haven't been checking in here too frequently. If you were at ACH this weekend, we probably crossed paths. Do you like moto camping at all? I'm due for another coast ride.
