I'm signed up for C group as well. Will be my first track event, aside from Cali Superbike School Level 1.

James, I'm guessing you have gone with 2WTD before? Do they offer lap timing, or will I need to figure out timing myself?

Hello, I have gone once with them back in October and there was no timing so you will need to bring your own. We can sync up once we get closer if you want to pit together.

I use services from a guy in my area who tows your bike up and back, provides lunch, stands, and warmers so I will probably do that again and be pitting there. I just show up, register, tech inspect, and ride since the prep is already done.

That's an awesome service! I'll be going with a few of my buddies and we gotta figure out bike transportation still. I think we're renting one of the cabins to stay at the night before though.

Awesome. I'm most likely going to grab a cabin too. I'm trying to convince my boss to go with me to split costs.

For a lap timer just download the $22 dollar version of Harry’s lap timer. The iPhone gps isn’t that great so you will probably end up buying an external gps eventually but for a first timer at the track, you can’t beat the price for the data it gives you. I use an old iPhone, an Xgps160 and harry’s. It sectors your laps for you, tells you corner speed, and lots of other data. Then you can take that data and overlay it onto your videos.

Wow, thanks. And Thanks for your service. Are you in Sasebo by chance? I'm assuming Japan and Navy so that's my first guess.
