I was going to do that, but the left was far too gone. That the few right sweepers there are, I didn't feel confident riding on it another day

I was running Supercorsa sp's, and tried the Q4's because there was only the Dunlop guy there. I'm really impressed! They felt like they held a little better powering out of corners, not as much wiggle going on. The Pirelli's, you can feel when they're getting worn. The Dunlops felt the same from the beginning to the end. For the money, I'll definitely run them again, until I get warmers and switch to slicks.

Thanks! Probably best bang for the buck without warmers...

I suppose you could. But all their press releases keep stating

"The user-friendly Q4 does not require tire warmers" and "A purpose-built track-day tire achieves lean angles up to 62 degrees! The Sportmax Q4 is DOT-approved for street-legal use."

I found that they did heat up pretty quick, 1/2 lap maybe

So the Q4 only lasted a day too? Wow that's quick. Was it spinning up a lot or just wear on the edge? Going to Chuck this month and running Q4's CCW also. Was hoping to get a few track days out of them!!!

I think the no sessions was a contributor, some of us were out there a lot! Like 15-20 laps at a time. Session track days you're out there 20 minutes and get what, maybe 9-10 laps at best, each hour?

I can take some pics when I get home, the "wear bar" in the siping on the left is no longer visible. But they still felt fine at the end.

Here's the pics. You can see the wear difference. Not sure how much is left....
(Please ignore the dirty wheel, that's from the run off. The shame )

Edit. I am about 225 without gear btw.

Yes, I ran them exactly that. Checked them right off the track and they were at 35-36 which is what the rep said they should be hot.
