Taking a lil bike to Willow?

What are your all's thoughts on playing with a 300 at Big Willow and Streets of Willow?

Do the little ones just end up everyone off for being so slow on such a fast track? What about Streets?

I would be extra slow as it'll be first time with the new bike on any track, and first time at Willow period for me.

As long as you take reasonable lines on track you won't be in anyone's way. If someone gives you a hard time about it you can call bullshit on them. Everyone else will back you up on that as long as you don't change directions mid-turn.

The truth is that if you have the suspension and brakes dialed in and can go deep in turns, you can be pretty fast on any bike. Don't worry about anyone else out there, you're there for you. Plus, there are lots of small bike race classes popping up so you'll probably see other 250-390 sized bikes out there.

I would think Big Willow would be boring, but Streets would be awesome on an R3.
Let's ride.

I agree with miles, Big Willow allows you to go as fast as you're brave enough which on the R3 may be a bit boring.

Streets is a perfect track for 1000cc V twins, 600cc IL4's and under imo.

engine size doesn't matter IMO. It's riders who can't keep their line and are unpredictable.
