You are sweet. I consider myself really lucky to be able to ride the track as much as I have been able to the last few years.
If you have any plans for Buttonwillow this year let me know! I should be out for all the Let's Ride track days.

The perk of riding a Yamaha! I was able to snag a spot for the third annual Yamaha Customer Appreciation Day last year! $100 a day and raised sound limit! My exhaust is way too loud for a regular day.

I should be at registration all morning...not sure about riding unfortunately. I need to try and see my knee doctor before then.

There are always coaches around in the orange vests. You can ask at grid (or at the instructor tent by the entrance of the grid) and someone will be able to help you out.

What group are you running in? There's also the beginner and intermediate schools.

The knee down thing will happen dude. Don't rush it. Yes it's part of our sport but if you go out with the mind set that your goal is to touch knee, bad can happen. Speed, confidence and lean angle will come with time. You will get sick if buying pucks after a while too lol. To me the knee down is just a reference point. Once I touch I tuck my leg back into the side of the bike and lean juuuuuuust a bit more. Nice pic by the way

Intermediate group, I want to pick up the pace but I'm afraid of crashing April.

Thanks for your input man....Ill keep that in mind when cornering. Ya Im over the the whole dragging knee deal. When it happens it happens
One of my goals is to become faster with more lean angle. Its bound to happen sooner than later.

Remember kneea Down is not a goal it's an accomplishment. When u get UR body position right the knees will be down.

It freaked me out the first time my knee touched down. I wasn't trying and wasn't expecting it. Now, I'm just a knee toucher not a knee dragger. My pucks barely have any scuffs on them.

You should consider signing up for the Doug Chandler Intermediate School on the 17th. You get some classroom time and you can get any and all questions answered. Plus tracks exercises.
