August 27/28 TrackXperience, Spring Mtn, Pahrump NV.

Anybody signed up yet? Just got my bike freshened up at Attack Performance. Checked valve clearances, removed thermostat and cooling fans (3.5 lbs), higher pressure radiator cap, air filter, oil top off, new coolant, checked brakes, chain clean and adjust, tweaked the fueling map, new rear slick on the way, trying a Dunlop for the first time. Need to put on the tail and new foam race seat pads.

Ready to rock.

Hey Dougie I'm seriously thinking about signing up. I heard a lot about how sweet this track is! Are you going both days? If I go most likely just on sat. You ever rode there before?

I've been there a few times. The track is smooth and grip is high. There are different track configurations available. Facilities include modern bathrooms and showers. You can camp at the track all weekend for 10 bucks. Downtown Pahrump is 7 miles west of the track.

Driving up and back for 1 day, for me, just isn't worth it. I feel like I'm rushed. Getting there Friday early evening and getting set up puts me in a very good state of mind for the rest of the weekend. The backdrop of the mountains and the open desert panorama just make it a beautiful place to ride. The organization is great, the people are great.

Hope to see you there.

You're going to LOVE it. It's on a slope. T1 is at the bottom left. The North/South requires 8 turns to the top of the slope, 3 turns across the top, then you fly down the long downhill straight and flip right left through the bus stop. Then you need to crush the brakes and slam it over for the double apex right, slam it back left, OMG I cannot wait,

Anyone getting a garage, or are there garages? They come in handy with the heat. If there's room I'd be glad to pitch in otherwise my canopy will have to do.

No garages. But after the track goes cold, they have a super clean man-made lake to swim in. Bring swim trunks.
