I have one Red in my bike and I haven't had any problems. Bike starts right up and I haven't even used the tender that I have once. Battery is much smaller then my oem one.

Did you need to shim up the battery box so it doesn't bounce around ?

It comes with foam in the box and you can cut it however you need to. It has stick'em on the sides of the foam.

The brand I'm running in my R6 is a Phantom. I picked one up from my wholesale warehouse I buy from for a buddy that was having hard start problems when it was warm. This battery kicks it right over like nothing and is smaller than his orig. when I felt how light it was I had to get one for mine. It's crazy light. I feels like a hollow plastic box.

Do it. The shorai unit for my bike is a third of the stock weight, doesn't need a charge up to a year between startups, n should last for 5 years. Do it
