street-legalizing 2003 CRF450
So I've been trying to research if I can turn the CRF450 I have into a street legal super moto for bombing around town. I have read a number of differing opinions (thank you internet). None of the articles have been very recent (that I can find). So I was wondering if anyone had first hand experience in this arena?
I have read that if you have a "3" or a "C" (i think) in the 8th character of the VIN then it isn't possible. However I have also read that people have done it. So again if anyone has any insight, advice, ways to get around the rules, anything to help me super moto the bike then let me know!
