I rode my bike today

Post up the ride that you did with some pictures and give a brief explanation. Let's see where everyone has been riding...

Last night from 8pm-11pm I rode from Corona to Big Bear Lake and then back down the 38. There was no moon, so the road was completely black. Traffic was minimal, so my buddy and I had a great time.

I couldn't get a picture of the bikes, because it was so dark, but here is the map. 156 miles round trip.

Wait a minute here. The thread title is "I rode my bike today" but then you go on to tell us about a ride you did yesterday?

Something fishy here.

You caught me. I will change the title to I rode my bike +/- 1 day...

I am mainly interested in current rides. Not reliving the glory days.

We had a good time. I definitely keep the pace slow at night in the corners. My headlights donít shine through the corner very well.

My riding buddy and I both work night shift, so it is easier for us to get out after the family goes to bed.

I did a 160 mile loop from my house to ACH. The temps were perfect and traffic was minimal.

That felt like a sprint after my 350 mile ride to Ojai and back.

I did. My route was a little shorter but it was fun to get out for 45 mins, anyway.

There was a nasty wreck on Hwy 1 just near the house. It didn't look good. The motorcyclist was in the ditch, and the actions of the emergency responders looked as if they were dealing with a fatality. It was a group of sport bikes and a car in the mix.

I hope my perception of the situation is somehow wrong.

Here's a cool winery that was featured on motocaching.net, so I snapped the pic.

I️ was able to meet up with AgentSteve today. We took the Kawiís along Santiago Canyon Road and up Ortega Hwy. We had almost no traffic on both roads!

We took a quick break at the lookout and met a possible forum member.

He was wearing some kind of Kevlar Khakis with protective footwear made by Sperry Topsider...

His bike looked fast and his gear was highly vented.

What a great ride.

I did, too. And made a far-too-long video about it.

Just because some might want to see the exotic land South of Trump's great wall, yet a very simple ride South of San Diego.

:-)

I need to head your way at some point. I always dreamed of taking an ADV bike to Copper Canyon.
