Just received a set of used Helibars Tracstar clip ons for the R1. I'll be removing the Renthal clip ons today after work and installing them. Should be a huge difference.

Are they risers ? Because my "Cycle Cat" clipon risers (about 2 inches higher) made a fantastic difference. I have changed the ergos on my GSXR completely (seat, rear sets, anti ball crusher pad...and much more.) and it is probably the most comfortable one around.......and handles even better. (more leverage). Now I am so spoiled.

Sort of. At the forks they're only about .5" taller than stock, but at the wrist they're 2" taller, 1" back and 1 1/4" wider overall. Compared to the Renthals it's an even bigger difference. I need to pick up some new screws for the Woodcraft bar ends to use with the included inserts, but other than that they're installed. The bars rise is about 21 mm taller than the fork clamps, they have about 1 of angle and are about a 32mm offset from fork tube center to bar center.

They're used and a bit scuffed up, however the quality is great. Well machined, powder coated, serial numbered and matched, very good fit and look quite similar to stock. After getting them, handling them and installing them I can see they're worth the $300 price tag. Sitting on the bike and the bars just fitting me right sealed the deal. I almost got the Apex risers, but I like the fixed position of these more (less to loosen up and slip). Plus finding them used for a good price made it an easy decision.

The early Christmas thread :D

Brand new Ohlins HO 204 rear (To match my FG322 Ohlins forks with wsbk valving), the rear was Dynoed and assembled by Dan Kyle with the torrington bearing to make it linear. And sprung correctly for me in my gear. Happy Happy

You will love it! Omgah, it is ridiculously loud. In a good way, of course.

Haha awesome. My bike is super quiet, so I wanted something that sounds better.

My exhaust finally came in, hot bodies mgp full system. It's a little louder than I thought it would be, but it's nice.

New Tires.

I ordered a set of the Dunlop Roadsmart III's and really like what I see. They have a much more aggressive profile than I was initially expecting; but that's a good thing . I can't wait to get them mounted and see how they feel.

Replaced my floppy plastic heel plates with some billet bling (seriously KTM wtf). After Tucking the left heel plate under then chain guard twice it was time to drop the $$$ on these.

I forgot how good if feels to be able to firmly plant your heel without feeling it flex.
