Good shops in Orange County for service/maintenance

Hi All,
I have been riding my 2016 Yamaha R3 for a little over a month now. I am a first time rider as well. My bike is approaching 600 miles. Do any of you guys have recommendations for good shops in Orange County to do maintenance work? I would like to eventually learn the ropes myself but maybe in the future. Please give me your recommendations.

Head over to Metric Method in Laguna Hills and ask for Eddie! top notch mechanic and person. He's been the only person to touch my racebikes and streetbikes for 16 years.

A service that new is basically to make sure nothing was installed wrong... you can complete it with very little work since a lot of it is just inspection. I wouldn't say first service is a waste of money, but it kind of is.

It's more or less 'make sure there's no play in the controls and most the bolts are on good, and do an oil change'. I'd be happy to help you out with if but I live in Torrance.

I second the Metric Method recommendation. Very thorough and actually not terribly expensive. Also if you're in Northern OC, you may wanna take it up to Hudson Motorcycles in Gardena. Not too far from you if you're in like Garden Grove / Westminster / Buena Park / Fullerton areas.

Thanks guys. Seems like Metric Method is a good place to start. I was also looking into that place before asking my question. Will consider the other suggestions as well.

My brother, a few friends, and I have taken bikes to Mach 1 in Costa Mesa for years. Excellent work and competitive prices.

I've taken my bike to Riders Revelation in Costa Mesa for anything from routine maintenance to troubleshooting and they've always come through. Jimmy is the owner:

I'm a fan for Drew at Oc Motorcycle Shop in Mission Viejo (714) 401-0785 charges a fair price and have been very happy with him. I have my FZ1 in there now for valve adjustment and tune up.

+1 for Lynsey at Street Dreams, one of only two people in the world that I would trust with my bike.
