Wow, where is everyone? HNY!
I haven’t logged into here for years since I deployed in 2015 and it is amazingly quiet in here. After, digging around for a bit I just couldn’t believe I saw that Alex has passed away, which made me terribly sad. I’ve never met him in person, but I always hoped he would join in one of the rides I put on at ACH. I hope those who were close to him are doing well and have continued to ride. The forums I was a part of have continued to die slowly and I never figured socalsportbikes would’ve met the same fate.
Anyways, I’m finally in a good place in my life and I hope to make my way back to Los Angeles in the next year or so. I would like to put on rides again like before. Just wouldn’t know if I could’ve revive this place to do so. I hope everyone is doing good in these weird times. |

Yeah this place has really died in the past few years. Been a bit of a bummer. Some of us still pop o from time to time to check things out though.

Yeah. I don't check in nearly as much as I should. Been riding dirt more often than not past year and the poor bikes have been neglected

Man. I had only test driven a rhino in Scottsdale and it was underwhelming. This thing is other level. Going 80 down a dirt road is like track crack. Plus the wife digs it way more than the bikes. She's only 5' so she's only ever been able to see cars flying by sideways lane splitting or my back. We moved up into the desert near willow springs and I don't even have to trailer it, just drive out the garage. Definitely recommend it

Yeah, I've had an S1000RR, and an EBR 1190RS, they're insane, but the triumph is so other worldly with the rider connection, especially when valving work and springs have been done

Actually gears are so much better than a CVT. Yamaha built these things fun Sent from my IN2025 using Tapatalk |

Thing is a blast. In the tighter trails it's a blast. Right up there with lane splitting at speed

Speaking of lane splitting, I lost my phone on the 210E at Rosemead. Came out of my ram mount splitting the carpool. Stopped and went back for it, but it was just getting obliterated by rush hour traffic
