looking for tire shop recommendation

New to SoCal. I have visited a few local shops on the dirt bike side of the sport. I have no idea where to go for street oriented needs. Except Chaparral for gear.

I am looking for a recommendation on where to buy and mount street tires somewhere between Temecula and points north up 15 or 215.

Where is the goto for best price to buy and mount (wheels of bike)?

I currently have Pirelli Diablo Rosso II's and they have worked very well the last 3000 miles but this morning noticed I am at the wear bar. Since those were good, I am thinking of spooning on the Diablo Rosso III.

TIA.

Chaparral mounts for $25/wheel off the bike if you buy tires from them. I'm also curious to see what the options around Temecula are as I was going to a DIY moto shop in LA and spooning on my own tires but could use someone/someplace around here.

Pretty sure cyclegear is $35/wheel off the bike

Hmm. Not sure the CG in Murrietta has a shop out back. May stop in and ask.

I did stop by Chaparral today. They have the tires I want. There line was 10+ deep of people with wheels (in shopping carts lol) and buying new tires. I did not have my wheels with me. I am able to eek another ride or 2 out of my old set. But will probably go back during the week when they are slower and get new rubber spooned on.

Just my 50-cents. 90% of tire problems occur in the final 10% of a tire's life.

The more you try to eek-out life, the more susceptible you are to an issue.

I used to ride 'em to the cords. Now I'm at a point where I take them off, and younger guys look at 'em and ask why I'm taking them off.

The days of running them to cord was over quite awhile ago for me as well. Wheels came off today.

Went to Chaparral this morning. Good day to go, as the tire guys were slow as opposed to how slammed I saw it on Saturday. Was in and out in about 45 minutes, including purchase and install.

I did learn though, not to take tires they have on the shelf. Those generally have the oldest date codes!! The front dated back to Week 14 of 2016. When I asked the guy about that, he kinda snickered and said let me check the warehouse. They had late 2018's in the warehouse and he brought those upfront for me.
