So is this going to be your track only ride or are you going to street it also?

Track only but I am researching DOT requirements so I can get around not having headlights. An oem rear fender satisfies turn signals, brake light, and license plate. Just need to resolve the headlights.

You don't really need two unless you need a sign off from CHP for a high beam.

I have been looking into LED lights for my VFR though ultimately I rejected them because even the spotlight versions don't really have a cutoff in them so oncoming drivers get some amount of glare from you. You may want to check out Amazon for similar products, they may serve your needs for less. https://www.amazon.com/Eyourlife-Wat...+driving+light

Yes many!

I am a week out from being complete. Here is a list of things I have done recently on the bike.

Installed Woodcraft Rearsets, currently set at GP Shift and waiting for the break pedal (Ordered the wrong kit) Wave washer and other OEM parts needed are on order and will come in Tuesday this week.

Ordered some OEM turn signals to complete the OEM stock rear fender. Yeah its ugly and heavy but at least it will function properly with only four bolts necessary to lose the excess weight.

Installed the brake light switch on the master cylinder, and put a new brake reservoir on - I couldn't stand the discoloring. Bled the brakes (again)

Drilled into the handlebar on the left side to make the turn signal/horn/high beam switches flushed to the bar.

Could not install the clutch switch because someone broke the screw in the clutch perch, I'm going to have to find the right kind of pilers to get it undone.

Mounted Q3's and wheels were rebalanced

Removed the shogun frame sliders and installed the OEM spacers

Put a couple of stickers on the swingarm and am trying to find the SoCalSportsBike decal thats been floating around my apartment for a while...

That's it!

Just need a mirror (Maybe) mount the headlight, and hopefully fix the clutch switch and she's good to go for any adventure!

Not trying to hijack the thread but I filled out a form for some decals like a month ago and never got them. Is someone still sending them out or is that old news?

I'll post some pictures tomorrow. It doesn't look like much, but the functionality is there.

I like how you did that light. Looks like the rear comes off easily for the track. Your doing an awesome job.

Nice work! I miss that bike.

Also, "it doesn't look like much, but the functionality is there" is the definition of a track bike

6 bolts and it's ready for the track. Thank you all for watching the thread and seeing the progress. I am very pleased with how nicely it came together.

Russ, thank you for selling me the CBR. I will take good care of it and ride it as hard as I can. =)
