Cycle Gear (Kearny Mesa) Bike Night 7/10/14

It's that time again! The monthly bike night at CycleGear in Kearny Mesa. Several vendors will be present, including On Track Wellness! CycleGear typically has a raffle towards the end, to close out the night.

Are you a bike night regular, who has been meaning to get your bike’s suspension dialed in? Now is the time! SST will be on location of Cycle Gear’s (Kearny Mesa) monthly bike night.

“The best $40 you will EVER spend on your bike!!”

Available spots for suspension tuning are LIMITED. Use our website link to sign up!! The booking section is at the bottom of the page.

You do know that I'm not tuning suspensions at RaceLegal that night . . .

The registration list (for suspension tuning) shall close at 1400. All those on it will have priority over the people that walk up. Don't wait and possibly miss out. Reserve your spot now!

Excuse the dumb noob question, but is this just for track riders or track bikes? I have a new bike and I think it's setup for someone 40+ lighter than me (stock from dealer). I don't want to show up and find out it's for specific riders/bikes and therefore burn a spot.

No worries. How else are we to learn?

This particular event/post is no longer valid, as it's from 2014. However, I will be at CG this month (8/11/16) tuning bikes.

Are you on the '16 Honda CB500F? If I'm not mistaken, you only have preload adjustments on that bike and no damping controls. Is that right? How much do you weigh?

The bike IS adjustable. It just doesn't have the plethora of adjustments found on supersport bikes.

I didn't notice the date and therefore "necro'd" an old thread. I clicked on the link and saw 2016 so a reading fail on my part.

Yes, that's my bike and I weigh 225. I have not looked at the manual but I believe you're right for the adjustment controls. I just realized I'll be at the river that day so it's all moot at this point. Thanks for the help.
