New route from SD

I'm thinking of riding somewhere out of SD area, maybe PCH to Old Topanga Canyon to Mulholland then Latigo. For those who are regulars around these area, are there any issues or closures or any hazard info I need to know before the long trip? any inputs would help...

Sounds tempting. I just got back from riding up through Fallbrook and De Luz area on my way to Ortega, went up and then back down actually. Maybe I'll meet you guys at the shell in lake elsinore. I don't really like big group rides though, how many are we talking?

All the way from SD... now that's a ride! Watch out for Hwy Patrol on Mullholland. SNeaky guys like to hide under shady trees.
