Painting boots
Out of curiosity has anyone ever painted their boots? I have some white boots that have yellowed (outer plastic) over time and have been tempted to paint them to bring them back to life. But I'm not sure if its worth the time to try, if the paint won't hold up while riding

Rust-Oleum Fabric and Vinyl spray paint will probably do it fine. Works on carpets, plastics, and vinyl. UV resistant, etc.
I used it to restore some plastics from my 80s cruiser and was very pleased. |

I bought some white Dainese TRQ outs and sold them before I started using them, seeing how fast the UV damage discolors the plastic parts of the boots. Seems like there's no way to stop it, maybe though the plastic parts can be cleared with UV protectant or something (before the discoloration sets in). A guy makes sticker kits for Alpinestars Supertech Rs and SMX Pluses which is neat since you can change the look, but I think it's just for those boots.
