New member, not a new rider. Chula Vista

Ok, so I'm bored at work and here I am.

I've been riding since .... well, a long friggin time. Ive had my share of bikes, close calls, crashes, and experiences. I used to go out on big group rides but it usually turns out to be a squid race that guarantees bad things happen. So, now I dont rideso much but still ride the weekends with a select few friends (if they can get a hall pass)

I'm here to possibly meet new peeps, go to events, give and take advice, and go on rides.

Oh, I appreciate all bikes but I have a soft spot for any euro models. 'Cuz if your gonna shell out the bread for finicky, troublesome machines, then you must know how to work on them with your hands.

I always thought it was the opposite. " if you have enough cash for a finicky, troublesome machine, then you must have e nought dough to have someone fix it for ya" Well at least the people I've talked to.

Ha ha ha yeah, true. Thing is, the money I would throw at the bike to fix it usually gets diverted to the skirt I always end up chasing.
